The Friends of the Mercedes Library strives to make a difference for the residents of Mercedes by
supporting the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Library. The world around us is growing at rapid rate,
to keep pace, the library aims to grow alongside its community. Like a living tree trying to survive
in the ever changing ecosystem, the library needs your help in continuing its growth.

You have the opportunity to memorialize events or people that have been significant in your life.
With a donation, you can inscribe that event or person’s name on a bronze or gold leaf to honor and
commemorate them. Your gift will leave a meaningful impact on this community and make a
difference in the lives of those who rely on the library’s resources and services.
